We bought these midge head nets with us when walking the Highland Way as the midge season in Scotland can be pretty annoying.  Thank goodness!  Whatever type of flying insect mosquito or midge or whatever you call it midgie, mozzie, midgy, or much worse this midge net is the ultimite midge repellant as they can't get in to bite.   An absolute must as mosquito or midge bites can ruin a good walk.  Very compact with it's own little stuff sack and weighs almost nothing.   Pop it in your rucksack and it you can have midge protection within seconds.  This midge net is so good it has been awarded its own nato number!
